Digipak – Planning

Above shows a diagram we will be using to make sure we continue to stick to our intended Luna identity. The main purpose of this diagram is for continuity and synergy between each of the elements of our coursework. Meaning, that the music video relates and is similar to our digipak and also our advert. Therefore, we will need to remain building the ‘Luna’ image in the same way in each of the elements of the coursework. We have put the ‘Luna’ logo in the middle of the diagram to show this is what is most important in each of the areas of the triangle.

Rough Cut – Feedback

After submitting our rough cut of our music video, we have gained some vital feedback from our media studies teachers. We have found this extremely helpful as we will try to improve our music video in all of the aspects listed in our feedback.

The main areas that need improving according to our teachers consists of:
1) Make the narrative stronger.
2) Edit the shots out where our singer looks down or out of the shot.
3) Night shots lack energy.

The positive and successful areas include:
1) Use of photos are good.
2) Some varied shots of Zara.
3) Light shots have more energy.
4) Some of the effects including jump cuts.
5) Lip synching is good.

Below is a document explaining the ways in which we hope to improve our music video for our final cut.
